Hydration 101: Staying Safe on the Trail
Dehydration is a common risk for hikers. Follow these hydration rules:
- Pre-Hydrate: Drink water before you even reach the trailhead.
- Sip Constantly: Don’t wait until you’re thirsty to drink.
- Electrolytes: Add tablets to your water on hot days or long treks.
- Water Treatment: Always carry a filter or tabs in case you run out.
Your body needs water to keep those muscles moving!
